Photobucket links

Last time I was here there was a discussion about allowing photobucket links..

I dont see the problem with this for UE really, as most UE forums allow there users to do this. So it shouldnt attract any unwanted attention. Plus with millions of users.. they're hardly going to notice.

But I'm just checking before I post up a load of my own UE reports! Have I got the all clear to hotlink to photobucket?

I'm assuming that this also means no IMG code to embed images into posts?

This is what I meant, I remember reading someone suggesting allowing IMG tags for photobucket ONLY. As no one is going to check our photobucket access logs.

Also, For directlinks - I say we allow them, *aslong as you route them through one of the URL redirection services*. 711chan has a system that automatically makes all links go through one. The militia has a similar system I believe.

For example; using "hxxp://www.anime-x.co.uk" as our redirection service [cant vouch for them]:

Instead of posting http://ww w.google.co.uk in code tags, or putting "hxxp" instead of "http". We'd simply put http://www.anime-x.co.uk/redir.php?http ... google.com

Thus we get a real link and we are still anonymous. Everyone's happy, right?
