Emergency Ghillie using natural vegetation

Stumbled upon this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYMCGp-atiY

Not sure how applicable it is for most night ops, but a handy trick to keep in mind. Even if you can't find green cleaver vines growing in your area (or time of year) you can probably find a substitute to whip up some natural camouflage in a pinch.
We are all books containing thousands of pages and within each lies an irreparable truth.
What is locked, can be opened. What is hidden, can be found. What is yours... can be mine.

It's pretty viable. Your scrim net if you sew on some regular net is better by far though. This is more for bushcraft optioning when you are in that hurry up and wait military setting. Good project, but nets and veils are cheap and if you can spend 10bucks and carry it light you should. Scrim netting can also retain water for the worst heat too so there's that. Very good for temp dousing against thermal.

The thing about ghillies is it always becomes the problem of eyes, ir and eye of sauron / thermal. You can always use them but sometimes it's better to know what you are walking into before making gear choices that ...well need made gear. You've got litterally the most EXP on night ops tbh so really if you can make it work I'd be far more inclined to find it viable. Maybe it's time to test it?
