Having some trouble with locks

Post by Atmos » Sun Nov 25, 2012 12:18 am

Hey guys im new to lock picking, but this pin and tumbler here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/wa3ydo
The bottom is way too thin to fit a wrench in, what should i do?

Also there are alot of locks like this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/jtr27a
where i live, I know their old so is their a way of getting through them? they are obviously way too large to use a standard lock set on,

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

That first lock is upside down; the pins are along the bottom, you should stick the wrench in the top. It happens sometimes.

That second lock is something I'm having trouble with too - trying out one solution tonight, in fact. It's called a 'warded lock' I believe, I made a topic about it here: http://nightops.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1358

Takes practice.
I can pick a master lock in about 1 minute

During your practice, just keep in mind that certain locks will refuse to budge no matter how long you make sweet love to them. There's a building I'm working on that I can get right inside of in under 5 minutes (past 3 locks) and another building that, after 10 minutes of struggling, can't even get past one lock. To be fair that lock seems to be some sort of high-grade prison lock designed to keep Batman at bay.

Wow ill keep that in mind, if I can get through the pin and tumbler, ill have access to a completely furnished, empty home 8m from my house which is a very good store house X)

And ill have a look at the 'warded' lock post, thanks man.
