APL Concept 1, Shoes That Make You Jump Higher

Found this somewhat interesting, not sure how many of you can make use of this though. Basically this is a basketball shoe capable of making you jump marginally higher. You won't be vaulting 2 story buildings or anything crazy, but it might add an inch or two to your vertical. From what I've been able to find, the shoes are legit and really do increase jumping ability, it's not just a gimmick and the NBA has banned it from professional games already. But the price to jump slightly higher is not cheap.

I don't think an extra inch or so is going to make much difference in how you op. If you can't jump somewhere, be resourceful. Also, 300 dollars isn't cheap.

....very cool, but a little outside my budget.


I would, however, be happy to spend tech shoe money for a pair of shoes designed to rapidly climb fences. do these exist? shall I run to make a patent?

Tabi and Barefoot/Vibram shoes have split toes which make it easier to climb fences, if that's what you mean.
