Humming Bird Lock Pick

Post by stealththief » Thu Dec 10, 2009 12:13 am

This seems pretty interesting, it's an electric flosser with a pick attached to it, combine with a tension wrench and you're good to go.

It seems like it'd be a longer but quieter continuous sound than a pick gun (but I've never used either). Either way doesn't seem too tough to make.

The idea is similar to the rumble pick I posted awhile back, albeit a much older one. Vibrating lock picks can be made out of just about anything that shakes if you find a way to attach the pick. My friend Teck-9 made one out of an automatic toothbrush that worked pretty well. I've also seen them made from the vibrating Mach-3 razor bodies.

Sources for vibrators (lawlz psy make joke):

Automatic flossers
Vibrating toothbrushes
Electric razors
Game pad rumble motors
Some RC vehicles
Assorted toys that shake in some manner
Vibrating dildos (whatever it takes, I guess :P)
Cell phones

Whatever else you can think of that vibrates.
Knowledge alone is not power, it is the potential for power. That potential can only be unlocked through applying that knowledge and realizing the skill.

I made a hummingbird pick before. I burned the motor quickly by over-volting it a bit and I couldn't get it to work well. I have a hard time opening even the most basic of locks using electric and manual pick guns. One thing to keep in mind is that these things are NOT quiet, the sound will vibrate throughout the door, wall, etc. It's not the rumble the device itself makes, but the rattle that results from hitting the insides of the lock. Not a good idea on ops but like anything it can be used in a few select instances. Maybe you guys have a better hand at using these, I'll stick to manual picking.
Fuck off.

I'm a huge fan of electric gun.
It never disappointed me.
It can adjust the height of vibration.

Never used hand made gun. Dont think it can pick.
Sorry for my bad English, try to understand my posts. Happy to share exp.
