Gear Wish List

Post by WWIII » Wed Oct 15, 2008 3:59 am

Alright I figure we should have a place to put our "wish lists" for all the NO gear we want. You can put anything from that knife you have been eying up or some other fancy gizmo, anything goes. Obviously some things will be well out of our price range, but hell its a wish list right :D

Alright well here is my list:

And Finally just for kicks a set of Night Vision goggles 8)

I would completely overhaul my loadout since I have been using the same stuff since I started and most of it was the cheapest available.

BDUs (color undecided...)

Surefire light:

A bigger pair of these:

and a pair of gloves that I haven't decided on yet.

everything else I already have in good condition.

I guess since this is up, everything I can think of that I want is either fictional, ridiculously expensive, or I'll have to develop it myself. Sometimes it's a combination of the three. :(

I may be new but I know something amazing when I see it.

Code: Select all

Kinda expensive but I am looking for a more affordable version

I'm surprised how light that thing is I've seen it before and it looks awesome besides the price.

A glass cutter, one of those special wetsuits (the one the Asian guy from Ocean's 11 wears when he's in the vault, same thing Sam Fisher wears), some shuriken, a good pair of shuko, a grappling hook (just for the sake of owning one), some sort of EMP for disrupting electronics, a .30 WA-2000 with suppressor & subsonic ammo, a P90 Tactical with supressor, subsonic ammo and night sight, an Mk23 with suppressor, a ghillie suit (making one) and a tight bag for carrying loot. I wouldn't mind having a tight suit made out of mylar with a sound-absorbing overlay, good for getting past sensors. "These are a few of my favourite things..."

And if you guys want some good gloves, try getting Ansell Hyflex. They're light, dark, cheap, breathable and have excellent grip.

As far as knives go, I've been recently wanting the CRKT Black Ultima. Their Sawtooth 2000 was one of my favorite knives, I'd take it over my Ka-Bar any time.

Hmmm... the Desert looks like a nice addition to my collection (I collect meelee weapons), but the Pentagon seems more manageable for smaller tasks. The Desert dagger looks good for prying thing open however.

There's nothing wrong with my current knife (Smith & Wesson HRT9B), but the serrated edge on the Pentagon would be very useful.

As well as the Pentagon mentioned above, I stumbled across the Ferrari equivalent of a knife:

http://image2.onlineauction.com/auction ... 2297-1.jpg

It's a Microtech Ultra DA-OTF automatic double-edged knife. Very sturdy with a solid, sharp blade, I havn't heard any bad reports about it. The only problem is the price tag; they run anywhere from $270-$500. Combine that with the fact that it's nearly impossible to get into Australia, I think this isn't getting off the wish list anytime soon.

Isn't there a rule against posting raw links or something?

You're good to go, the forum software has been updated by Monsieur Secant to automatically include a anonymous redirect therefore eliminating the problems we previously had concerning direct links. Use them as you wish.

I wish (I would be able) to buy some shuriken, 20 nekote (in case I lose the 10 first), a couple of tensen, some kaiken (love 'em!), that "tabi sneaker" shoes or a good pair of dark shoes, a pair of kevlar gloves, a grappling hook, a pair of night vision goggles, and a slimjim (which will be the only easy thing to get).
SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH :P
