Found a neat etsy shop. Just a dude making (I assume iron?) replicas of old shinobi climbing tools. Might be of interest to some of you:

Can they actually support any weight or would the iron just snap?

That four prong hook seems a little iffy, but unless he totally botches the heat treating those look solid. I'd trust that 3 prong hook with my weight unless it was brittle.
