Does anyone know of anywhere i could purchase a decent set of Tabi boots online?
I'm experimenting with different types of shoes.

Amazon, Ebay, whatever. Or sites that supply martial arts gear.

i keep purchasing pairs that make ridiculous amounts of noise with each step.
Think of your foot pealing off of the floor but amplified by at least 10 times.

You need to break them in. Wear them for a while, walk across concrete & other abrasive surfaces and they'll soften up somewhat. All footwear (especially boots of all kinds) need a break-in period.

Every pair of tabi boots I've ever tried on hurt my toes and weren't very secure. I too would like a brand recommendation.

Got a pair of these last year. Haven't worn them an awful lot yet, but they're definitely more secure than my original canvas ones.

Those look awesome. The soles look kind of thick though, like work boots. But I feel like those straps are what most tabi are missing.

They are pretty heavy-duty, which makes them quite suitable for outdoors/rough terrain. They'll definitely soften up more after wearing them out a little.
