Red Maglite filter

I dusted off my old maglite, upgraded the bulb to brighter led light and got a red filter for it and I have to say it’s made a old dim maglite in to a new one that should last years

I never liked how dim my maglite had become but now it’s better and it’s not offensively bright with the red filter on which tones it down a bit

It’s waterproof, touch and I installed a lanyard

Love re-purposing old gear like that.

Me too. I don’t like throwing good stuff away if I can help it

I bought a cheap flashlight that runs on a single AA battery and wrapped the wrapper of a babybel cheese wheel around the front and cut it to make a red light filter.
