Well it looks like a decent softshell jacket to me. The price doesn't seem unreasonable for what it is, as a softshell from some of the higher level manufacturers will cost you several times that price. The company, Scottevest, has a pretty good reputation for tactical and travel clothing. Personally, I don't like using a softshell jacket for opping unless it's very cold outside, and I absolutely need an outer layer beyond my combat shirt. I do have a cheaper black one that I sometimes wear though, and I can attest to jackets like that keeping you relatively warm and dry without making a ton of noise.

Lol, clothing is just like anything else. The more you pay, the higher quality item you receive. Unfortunately price increases much, much faster than quality does.
