Supplementing. Discord is popular and all, but there should still be a place where oppers can chat without being overheard.

Yeah, Discord isn't very secure and i felt having it up would be a liability, and besides, IRC chat is a thing.

Well, it was. At least for me. Maybe a plugin is disabled on my browser or something.

I get a similar error in Chrome, I fired up Firefox though and I think there's an SSL issue with the chat embed. Nothing too big, I just wanted to hop in chat again - I used to leave it pinned in my browser!

Barely use it anymore, but if someone started it up again I’d join. From when I made it there was barely if any activity and a number of guest accounts so overall pretty baron.

I use Discord constantly, but it doesn't seem to be a wise choice for on-topic content. If you really want a secure place to gather outside of this site, why not make a Telegram group? That's about as secure as it gets for most practical purposes.
