I appreciate this guy's approach to the history of... we'll say ancient stealth operatives. Reminds me a lot of how we approach ancient western martial arts today.

Anthony Cummins has written several books regarding the historical ninja, from translations of old texts to modern original works cross analyzing. I have one or two books, here is a list of them from Amazon;

I have one of his books. The translation of the Shoninki, which I think I've quoted here once or twice before.
