This is a cool idea, is WWII considered too recent? I have some other periods, I just find WWII pretty interesting

I appreciate this guy's approach to the history of... we'll say ancient stealth operatives. Reminds me a lot of how we approach ancient western martial arts today.

I have one of his books. The translation of the Shoninki, which I think I've quoted here once or twice before.
