Got any favorite stealth / night ops related movies?

In the vigilante thread, "Gordon's War" (1973) was mentioned.

Batman series also seems relevant.

Ghost Dog is one of my favorites.

Robin Hood varieties also come to mind.

Hollywood can never seem to do stealth well - although I suppose it's hard to capture on camera that which isn't supposed to be seen. Closest ones I can think of with Night Op-like elements are...
Re:Born (2016)
Sicario (2015)
Shooter (2007)
Dexter (TV series)
The Hunted (2003)
The Bourne trilogy
No Country for Old Men (2007)
Shadow (2018)
Street Thief (2006)
The Foreigner (2017)
The Raid (2011)
Out of the Past (1947) And film noir in general, I suppose.

Videogames have a bit more to offer in terms of a pure stealth experience:
Thief series
Splinter Cell series
Hitman series
Aragami
Assassin's Creed series
The Elder Scrolls series (there's usually a stealthy option for most situations)
Ghost Recon series
Alien: Isolation
Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic (more of an action-RPG but has some stealth elements)
Deus Ex series
Neon Struct
Dishonored
series
Watch Dogs
Far Cry
series

I'm sure there's others I'm missing, but there are plenty of games out there that, if not focused on stealth, have elements of stealth in them. I suppose why we see a lot more stealth in games rather than movies is that while it's fun to play stealthily, it's boring to watch.

Ah, almost forgot! Lone Target (TV series) while some of the scenarios seem a bit staged, it does hold some key lessons on escape & evasion.

Great list, thanks Xanatos. I agree with many of those and look forward to exploring others.

I'd also add The Americans TV series to this, as one filled with spycraft in every episode. Some at state level rarely relevant to most night ops, but many stealth skills are portrayed in practice.
