A thread for those who couldn't make it.

Its Christmas time, so let's have a think about those who can't be here.

I'll get the ball rolling.

Dark Kaiser

One of the original NONET members; helpful and keen to share his knowledge, yet always cooking up a scheme in some way or another. As such I think many of us either know of him or knew him.

Sadly he was troubled, and took his own life in December 2011. It wasn't fair as the poor bastard never really got a fair crack at life; and the help he needed always seemed to be ever so slightly wrong.

There's a rather hollow thread on one of the &totse clones where he rationalises the choice and says his goodbyes.

Ray

Ray was a brilliant fella, slightly younger than me and taken far too early. A lot of the experiences I shared on here revolved around that crazy bastard.

His body was too big for him, as as such he had no balance and was one of the clumsiest guys I've ever met. He didn't particularly have a good head for heights either (rooftops were OK, crane ladders were NOT)... So all in all, he should've been absolutely useless. In reality he made up for that with an immense amount of enthusiasm and quite a dark sense of humour.

He passed away during the summer last year; he went to bed to simply never wake-up.

haha, I never stay away for that long! I've lurked occasionally but not logged in.

It's been a bit of a crazy time, a mixture of work - and then losing my buddy mentioned above; I don't think I've really been out since he's gone to be honest.
