Knives - Just Knives You Like.

Post by Lynx » Tue Nov 10, 2015 8:53 pm

We do have a few knife threads up, but there, functionality is being discussed. Just post knives you like here. Things you'd keyster if you were built like Shaq.

Alright, here's a few I wouldn't mind adding to my collection. For collection purposes. Show off your wish list! I wanna see what knives the people here are craving.

Nothing immediately springs to mind, I'm quite happy with my SOG Pentagon:

Now when it comes to swords, I've got a fair few I'd love to get my hands on.

Alright, all bladed weapons then.

And here's an Extrema Ratio SERE. I'd love one on my leg rig, I'll need it if I'm attacked by a squad of drunk FSB agents or boars.

What swords do you have in mind, Xana?

This badboy for starters: https://darksword-armory.com/medieval-w ... word-1544/

Mmph, yes. Daddy wants that longsword. Functional and beautiful in one quality package.

Also would like a sabre, rapier, kukri, backsword, greatsword, dao, tulwar and a pair of katars, but haven't settled on any particular models yet. As far as longswords go however, that Wolfsbane is for me.

These days I really only go after either antiques that catch my eye, more recent but "classic" knives like older well made Old Timer brand blades and such, or custom carbon steel woodsman blades. My most recent pickup from an estate sale included a large toothpick as pictured above, a thinner fighting styled toothpick, a massively long carbon bowie with custom handle, and an engraved ceremonial tulwar circa mid 1800s. The last one was a major steal for me at 1/4 the going auction rate but I keep it up on my wall. Pro tip: you are fucked if you are inside of my house during a strong earthquake.

Sounds like Matt Easton's house.

It's not quite so bad, fortunately I've got too many other interests to possibly pile them up that high!
