I checked this site before the news because I knew it was all going to be about the shutdown, and of course, the only new post is about what I was avoiding.

Day 5 into collapse of modern America. All useful services have been furloughed leaving us without power, water, food, or love. No word on when any of these services will be returned to us but at this point we can't assume anything. I'll continue to update my journal to keep my sanity throughout this madness.
