Detox from Nicotine and other vices
Going to keep a log going on here of an ongoing detox. I don't mean detox in the trendy hipster way of " OMG - LIKE THAT HAS CALORIES IN! Keeping to a plan - YOUR techniques
Here's some food for thought if you're having trouble sticking to a regime or trying to achieve some goals; whilst it's very much geared towards New Years Resolutions and techy ones at that, it does propose some good thinking strategies. http://lifehacker.com/5874589/seriously-stop-sabotaging-your-2...

Re: First Solo OP & Lockpicking
I'm a firm believer in the "just take a wander first" idea. I did write a guide (it's in the resources section of the website) advocating that - it makes strong psychological sense too; a bit like exposure therapy. You gradually expose yourself to a situation and build it up, so a few walks - then m...

Confidence, Confidence, Confidence.
A lot of people can't understand how I can brick it at the thought of a rollercoaster, but climb up a tower and jam on the roof taking photos. It's all down to confidence, and belief in my self. Without that I wouldn't have matured into who I am now.
