Re: Unusual gears

Welcome back! Now onto unusual gear. I'm working on upgrading my LBV, and I'm thinking of adding a shotgun scabbard to the back to act as something to carry bolt cutters. Thing is, most bolt cutters have wide handles, and aren't super long. The scabbard is about 74cm long. Which is a lot for a bolt ...

Quick question.

Whenever I try to make something double edged with my angle grinder, the tip becomes round. Just round. "Sharp", but round. What the hell?

Been trying to make a dagger and a push dagger, both got rounded tips. It's annoying the hell out of me.

Ghillie suits are pretty awesome. I remember you posted a link to a leaf-suit of sorts, suited for the woods. That looks so much more mobile than a full ghillie suit. My country has about two shooting ranges in total :) Gun laws are pretty strict here, the only exception is hunters - who are allowed to own .22 rifles in safe boxes. As far as I've experienced, the effectiveness of camouflage is completely reliant on where you are conducting your ops. I live in Western Europe. Yeah, practice really makes perfect with the angle grinder. I learned that the hard way. I was beveling the edge like Xana proposed, and accidentally ended up with a round tip.
