Don't forget to look for hidespots and points of cover. It may be a bit harder to discern good hiding places during the day when your AO isn't shrouded in darkness, but being more familiar with your environment will make it easier to find physical cover (bins, machinery, niches, ditches, etc).

I climbed over a barbed wire fence in my op video, twice. I didn't record me actually climbing over it because I needed two hands so had to put the camera away, but it's not that big an issue if you're careful about it.

If by "ranged weapon" you mean 'firearm', no. Bad idea. They're loud, messy and often not worth it. Bringing a firearm on a night op is like bringing a bazooka to a knife fight.

Actually, messenger bags are far easier to access as it naturally hangs right where your hands are. Sling bags however are easier to manoeuvre in as they hug your body and don't swing all over the place when you're climbing/running/jumping.

Yep, that's small for a messenger bag. I've got a similar bag in black which I use on ops to carry bits of gear such as cameras, but aside from that it's not really useful as a standard pack or bag. If you're looking for a good tactical messenger bag I linked a photo of the Code Alpha messenger bag ...

^ Those fences are typically quieter to climb over but aren't nearly as easy as standard chain link fences. Some establishments take things a bit further and combine the two fences; spike/spear fence with a layer of chain link to block the gaps.

I was chatting to Moddy about this last night and was wondering what sort of bag would be suitable as a BOB (Bug Out Bag)? That makes sense. I typically hear lizards and sometimes cats crossing the leaves outside my window. The light rustling is so common now that I barely even notice it. If an operative were to mimic those movement sounds I doubt I'd notice their presence.

Re: Suddenly. Dry leaves. Billions of them. Everywhere.
Leaves are always a bitch to cross. The best method I can think of is to shift the leaves out of the way with your foot before placing it on the ground, stepping on the balls of your feet. It's still going to make a bit of noise as you swipe the leaves away, but not as much as crunching directly ove...

Wasn't multicam the original replacement choice? Why in the name of Mother Nature did they choose ACU? Probably because it's cheaper methinks, like how the US military chose the Beretta M9 over the SIG Sauer P226 (far superior) as their standard sidearm because it was cheaper to buy in bulk.

Nothing comes to mind except carefully cutting away a section of the coil to climb through, and I wouldn't think the doormat trick would work on such wire. Fortunately I haven't had to deal with this before, although I have seen it up close and I can tell you it's not pleasant.

The flash isn't that much of an issue, if you're using it for Dare ops. Unless you're taking multiple shots in an area that's likely to be occupied by awake personnel, it's not really worth the investment to purchase a nightvision camera. If you're worried about the flash many cameras have an adjust...

After a bit of Googling lifting up the door is probably the best way to go, unless you don't mind breaking the glass (of which there were many humorous suggestions for doing so). So you weren't able to get inside? It doesn't look like it's occupied, judging from the state that it's in. However it could be some sort of hideout or stash spot. To be safe, when you do plan to infiltrate do it with a friend who can watch your back.

The best way to check if something's abandoned is the most obvious approach: Infiltrate, carefully.
