Re: Wa hae
What he said. I have no idea what kind of camera I use. I just found one on my counter and used that.

Re: What Do You Do?
I work with computers. I've made some money fixing them, I mess with servers a lot, I've dabbled in a bit of python programming and a bit of networking. It's a hobby. Maybe it'll be my profession someday. I'll be in college by this time next year if my current plan works out, although I have no idea...
Re: Wa hae
Welcome aboard. I'm pretty new myself. I've done some UE, and a lot of the time we mix UE with NO's. Hope you find your stay helpful.

Re: Keeping to a plan - YOUR techniques
This is a giant pain in the ass for me. I procrastinate more than anyone I know. If I have an assignment do, sometimes I'll stay up all night just to put it off and try to get it done a few hours before going to school. It's stupid. I make a list of things I have to get done, then ignore the list. I...

Re: First Solo OP & Lockpicking
Also, I'd suggest getting a basic padlock and practicing on it. That's what I did and I got the basic idea down within a few hours. Now it's just a matter of me actually practicing. For basic Ops, exploration is definitely a good idea. If there are any ineresting sites where you are, sneak in, look ...

Re: Your 2012 Gear Wish-List
Most of my Ops don't really require much. I'm pretty content with a basic setup. I guess if I could get some new gear, I'd probably get the following: 1.) New boots. - I have big rubber boots, but they're terrible for running. I'd get some boots that are easier to run in. 2.) New gloves. - The ones ...

Re: Time to Consider Recruiting Options
I definitely agree with most of the suggestions here. I think one of the major problems we face is getting people to come back, not just for this website, but for every website. Getting people to look at a website is easy, getting people to actually come back and interact is more difficult. Especial...

I help moderate a similarly fringe site dealing with a different subject, but I've talked about some of this shit before. I'll go plug this site and see who's interested.

Re: Buiding a team/finding a partner
These communities are really the only place I'd consider discussing such matters with people. Unless you know like-minded guys in person, a lot of other people will shut you down. Trust and loyalty are paramount. I'm discussing a meet up with another guy who used to post on here for the first time ...

I've done the same thing in the past. Works pretty well. I'm pretty sure cops know about the cavities in furniture, but it should be pretty solid from just about everyone else.

Re: Sneaking OUT of a military base
Make friends with a piza guy, get him to smuggle you out? Maybe try to find an unguarded section you can sneak out through? If it's totally fenced in, and patrolled, I'd be weary of cutting a hole in a fence. It would make quite a fuss about security, me thinks. If there's a woods around/in the base...

Like, a night-ops organization?
Either way, I'd start off by getting a few like minded people together and pooling as much money as you can. Then expanding and slowly recruiting, and setting up a site, and all of that...
Or something.

Re: The Values learn't through Night Op's
I definitely think you have to have at least a little bit of discipline to be able to stay in shape, and carefully plan the Ops... It also helps me feel alive. It's something that sort of helps me escape the boringness of daily life, and actually feel excited. It keeps us from being dull. That's all ...

Welcome. Looking forward to hearing about your past excursions. Thanks. Just saw your post in the Dare Thread. Fucking hat-trick, man! Talk about hit the ground running. Where to park? and How useful is lockpicking?
Problem 1: Parking. At one point, me and a few people I was driving around with at midnight were going to go climb a water tower... I was semi-against the idea because it was all lit up and more or less in town. The visibility of the thing was not making me comfortable. Anyway, I said fuck it and we...

Re: Ideas for Technique-Perfecting Games?
Plant & Retrieve: You need at least two people for this game. The objective is for one person to infiltrate an area and plant an item in a strategic place (on a rooftop, near a guardhouse, under somebody's window, etc) without being seen and the other person has to then retrieve the item without be...

Re: So What's Your Fucking Excuse?
I've been opping pretty frequently in general, but lately the frequency has diminished because I'm running out of objectives that are within close range of where I start from. Fucking this. (Hope i'm not bumping too bad.) I live in a rural ass area, and I've hit just about every non-private/non-hom...

Re: outdoor drop point?
Another method is to stow your stash in a locked box/bag/whatever, dig a hole large enough to fit it in, line it with newspaper or straw to keep it dry, cut some chicken wire to cover the hole and stuff leaves, twigs & other bits of foliage through the holes to conceal your stash. Again, pick a str...

Hey everybody... Found this site when googling night-ops. Basically: - I'm eighteen. - I've been on a shit-load of night operations. (I guess I'll write about them a little bit later.) - I've got a bunch of gear, including knives, a mask, a picking kit, camo, some lights, some hats, and all of that....
