Nice guide. I never really considered covering my eyes for glare. Last time I was caught it was because of a spotlight but I was cornered and they yelled for us to come out.

For me it's much simpler, I enjoy sneaking around and being stealthy and resourceful. It's my idea of a good time. I appreciate the night and the feeling of being invisible and unique in my activities but those are to prominent in my thoughts, I just enjoy sneaking from time to time.

I don't carry a weapon as such per say. I carry a small folding knife, but I carry that all the time anyway, not just for operations. I'm pretty confident with my ability to bounce if I need to vanish, fighting-wise, I'm probably better than average but I'd still rather roll out than stick around if...

A surplus place is great but prices are steep (but quality is awesome). Other than that, improvise, you don't need the latest hi-tech James Bond wetsuit to sneak into a yard. Get gear according to your situation. If you can get online and have it shipped to a friend, that'll work too.

I'd personally say get it brown, works in most areas I feel. The ghillie idea is great I can easily see how useful a ghillie sash/blanket would be. Also I've seen a ghillie cloak in action, and it works great.

Usually woodland bdu or some type of cargo pants plus either a shirt or hoody, it's usually what I'm wearing when the opportunity presents itself. I'm in dark sneakers or watershoes in the summer and sneakers or boots in the winter.

For chain link I usually wall run up as high as I can, grab on and climb with my hands and feet. If I can't wall run (noise) I just start climbing or jump then climb. I don't have a specific climbing technique for chainlink, just alternate hand and foot.

I'm with you, I train (myself and ninja buddies) in both stealth and speed movement, both for infiltration and escape, for example I teach speed vaulting along side a low silhouette-less vault for stealth, different options for different situations.

I usually carry an L-necked military flashlight with a red removable filter. If I feel I really need a lot of light or won't be seen I carry a 99 cent store LED light that's super bright.

Don't own a gun, don't carry a gun. In an urban setting I feel it would be ridiculous, way to many places to hide/escape, carrying a gun would also be really stupid if any cops around decide I'm to shady.

Their legitimacy is on and off, I feel it comes from the way they train and have been trained. Some are ex-mil and know what they're doing in terms of that but their other sources of knowledge vary and can't all be reliable. I'll take what works and ditch the rest.

Glad you got back into it and got your pk eyes back. Besides Jump London and Jump Britain some good parkour movies to watch are Yamakasi, Les Fils du Vent/The Great Challenge, District B13 and the second one that's supposed to come out soon.

In the winter I usually use winter gloves, (either a leather pair with some cotton ones underneath or some puffy synthetic ones). I hate to admit that I don't use gloves that much i the warmer seasons unless I take the time out to thoroughly plan an op.
