For people who deal with dogs
I hear a lot of people dealing with dogs with blowguns, if that's your thing check this out. If you use blow guns at all check this out for that matter, seems useful and easy.
Hope this helps

What to learn first
I realized this too late because I feel that I have already learned my basic NO skills, but after training parkour with various groups of people watching their learning curves I've realized that if you spend too much time learning techniques and not enough time actually putting them into practice yo...

I've never had winters so rough that I couldn't op, but now I'm in a place where the winters will be crazy so I hope to learn some stuff about winter opping. I know climbing will be less prominent and stealth in the snow will be strange. Maybe snow shoes are a good idea, no idea how quiet they are, ...

Cheap night vision
I ran into this when I was looking around thinkgeek (has a buncha cool tools), I was surprised to see the cost at less than $100. It's a head mounted monocular with an infrared flashlight, seems alright. I have no idea how it would handle stress and stuff. http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/science/a...

Stealth/NO/PK vision
I know I've obtained this. It's a way of seeing the environment tactically, like hiding spots, access to buildings, paths that you could use to escape with parkour, and stuff like that. I notice this kinda stuff without even thinking anymore, it's useful. I've developed different parts at different ...

College Campus and Security Cameras
Does anyone have experience with either one? There are security guards here but they drive around in cars or patrol dorms so I don't mind that I could dodge them, BUT every hallway in my residence has a dome camera covering the entire hallway. I was told by a security guard that there were cameras o...

Tactical Turn Roll
This move seems like it;d be pretty useful to look around while staying low, simple and easy but really practical.
Hope it's useful. Takes about a minute to learn so you won't waste too much time even if you never use it.

Night Awareness Guide
This is a night awareness guide based on techniques from different schools of ninjutsu and experience.Wrote it for opping partners to practice while I'm away, we've started recording our techniques into our own ryu (school of thought kinda) of modern ninjutsu. Here it is: Black Shadow Ryu Ninpo (Nig...

you mean a shinobi shozuko? I'm gonna try using one on an op, and see what happens. Not enough pockets in my opinion, but the design is good if get caught just say martial arts training, which is kinda true if you think enough about the word martial. Get a utility belt or tactical vest for the shin...

Of course it also depends on your environment. Dark red gets the attention it does because it doesn't penetrate air as much as anything else. So, red would be better when the only people looking at you would be farther away. If you're in a close proximity area, like a con. site, then dark blue/grey...
Red??
I've heard and read a few people talking about sneaking around in red or dark red because it turns black in the dark, I've never heard of this and was wondering if any one has any experience with this. I field tested it and had someone rate visibility indoors and seems it's not as good as dark blue....

I kinda know some parkour. I was into a little before I was into N.Oing. I learned the monkey vault (if thats the right name) cuz I thought it was the coolest. Theres also a particular fence thats about 4 feet taller than me on a route we frequently use that I can climb in a matter of seconds. I've...

Use some caution when sticking people up on trees and towers, as it can create a trap for them if they're surrounded on the bottom. You can read for yourself in experiences how often people are seen in some way on rooftops. Make certain the lookout keeps a low profile and maintains noise discipline...

I find the best lookout spots are high up, a rooftop/water tower that lets you see 360 degrees around you works well for me, as does a tall tree or a fire escape. Be sure you can radio, call or yell (if you really have to) to your buddies in the cars. If you can pull of a civilian look in your area ...
Headgear
What are you guys wearing on your heads lately? Here it's summer so I've been using a bandanna to cover the top of my head and various other stuff to cover the bottom (mostly solid cover and shadows :( ). I used to have big hair (think large afro), so I stuck with hoods that could be tightened but n...

Once inside: This really depends on the place your in, if its a public place with an off limits area you won't act the same as if you broke into a house. If it's public and open throw on a hat and glasses and walk around with your phone to your ear, people are less likely to bother you that way. If ...

Operating in an urban environment
Straight from the streets of New York City is the first installment of my thoughts and techniques for operating in a city. Stay low key: This is a bit about social stealth and taking advantage of the people who are always outside. When you're going to carry something out, make sure you look like you...
