They used to sell a flashlight named the "night ops gladius". I'm not sure if they make it anymore, but that's probably why you're getting that result.

I carried when i was in school as well, but that was a few years ago. Things seem like they have become more paranoid since then, so it's up to you whether you want to risk it either way.

I feel like that'll make for a lot of wasted effort. i intentionally make my plans "loose", with a lot of leeway for last-minute changes. The ability to improvise and adapt is crucial to success on ops, and experience is the best teacher. I'll be perfectly honest, roughly 50% of my ops are done with...

In my experience it's usually between 10 and 15 minutes, but like Xanatos said - there could be a patrol car driving by less than a minute away that happens to get called in. If you're not sure whether you tripped the alarm or not, i'd probably retreat to someplace safe and keep watch for at least 3...

I've always been a fan of fingerless gloves for opping, as long as you're not doing anything where fingerprints are a concern. If you can find a blank that would fit, you could try a technique called impressioning. It could be either. For the adrenaline, for curiosity, to test yourself, or better yourself. To gain knowledge or possessions. We try to leave things up to the individual to determine what a night op means to them. One thing though - if your ops include very illegal things, we probably don't want to...

Not entirely related, but if you're moving through the woods silently and you're worried about snapping sticks, set your foot down flatly on the ground, and then slowly transfer your weight onto it, instead of sudden stepping. It helps to balance out your weight, and gives you a chance to pull your ...

Yup, they were legitimate US military MREs. If you're not interested in paying for the actual military ones, the same companies that are contracted to produce them for the military also often sell civilian versions that are essentially the same, with only minor differences in packaging.
