Lock Pick Training
I just started out with lock picking and I wonder how you guys train your lock picking skills. I recently bought the SouthOrd C500 set and a cheap Masterlock (4 normal pins) but it is already too easy to open even with the hook. Which locks do you recommend? Also, do you have specific training drill...

Re: COVID-19 and opping?
If there are less people in the streets you would look suspicious walking around there, especially in a business area. I also heard that in some places the cops and the army will be patroling the streets regularly. Ok, you're right. In a total lockdown it is not a very smart idea to go day opping i...

Re: A few questions from a beginner
Blue or red filter My knowledge on color vision is limited, but I do know that the human eye is not very sensitive for ultraviolet and infrared. Violet/blueish should work in this theory as good as red. However, the color you use also has an effect on the preservation of your night vision and I thi...

COVID-19 and opping?
With 250.000 confirmed cases around the world, I think it is safe to say that by now most of us are affected by the coronavirus in some way or another. I was wondering what your thoughts are on this, in terms of (day) opping, preparing for a total lockdown, etc. In my country, for example, people ar...

Re: Decreasing activity
So from what I understand, the problem is twofold: 1. Not getting found by new people 2. People are only reading for a while and are gone shortly after For the first issue I cannot immediately think of a solution. Maybe I can think of some system or network later on. However, for the second problem ...

Decreasing activity
I am not very experienced yet, but I would like to become a serious opper. I love the night. However, I noticed that the activity on this forum is slowly but surely decreasing and that's such a shame. I strongly believe that there are many people like us somewhere out there. People who are passionat...

Re: Working on something. Your input requested.
... smart phones are cheap cheap cheap today and most have ways to shut the door on big brother so you can work without your own gear conspiring against you. In fact, we'd do well to have write-ups on how to make outdated operating phones safer. I would love to learn more about things like that.

Re: Working on something. Your input requested.
Wow. That sounds extremely awesome and handy. Can’t think of any features that could be added though.
I’m kinda curious... How exactly are you building this, if I may ask?

Re: Hey
Yeah that sounds logical... Luckily there aren’t many houses around, so chances of me being seen are quite small, but still. Will do some stealthercise tonight.
Re: Hey
Just a little sneaking around town while trying to stay in the shadows. Just that was already a challenge. What should you do when you just need to pass a street lamp to get to the shadows? Quickly and silently run or walk like normal?
Hey
Hello oppers.
I have been lingering around here for a while as a guest and have read a lot about night opping, stealth, etc in your library. As I have recently done my first little op, I decided to make an account.
