Re: A Reference Guide for the Aspiring Night Ops Member

There's a fantastic operation in Bad Ideas from a guy I trained and it's gotten less than 200 views in over 3 years. [Edit: And now that I look at it, his High Castle operation in Experiences isn't even 100 as I type this, probably why I could never get him interested in the site] Perhaps. I do not...

Re: Sicarius's Progress Thread

You know that night operations happen in physical reality and not theoretical papers right? I have noticed a lot of posts now where you disregard sound advice and technique that can be inferred from such in favor of theory that from what I have seen comes from hand waving woo stealth wannabe sites t...

Less Than Lethal

Hello! It seems the standard operating procedure when at risk of confrontation is to first attempt to avoid the situation. Failing that, to evade the would-be assailant. If possible after that, use a deterrent to aid in evasion and... when all else fails engage in combat. Here's where I see a weak l...

Resource - NinjaChemist

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZwo0H2U776XiNqokq98cwg/videos I've seen that the community generally frowns upon many devices like this, but I still thought some may find a few of these ideas useful. The author seems like a bad joke in cheap ninja attire at first, but his work is actually quite g...

Re: TRY OUT KEYS

+1 on single pin picking. Masterlock No. 3 is one of the locks I trained on after I bought my Southord newbie set and it's turned into somewhat of a joke. I'm not even shit, either!

Re: Masks?

I went ahead and got a nice neoprene balaclava with small breathing holes, the eye slit offers plenty of room that does not impair my vision. Valid point on a three-hole covering more skin surface, but I feel like the center piece between the eyes would drive me crazy.

Re: Lockpicking? Lockpicking.

I ordered two practice locks to get a better idea of things, I'm having a hard time learning SPP and without the skill raking seems to be a game of random chance. I also ordered up a solid aluminum stun baton with the intent to modify the power output and a few other things later, but that's another...

Lockpicking? Lockpicking.

Hey all, just wanted to make a big discussion on lockpicking in general (and other bypasses!) since no such topic exists. I've been watching heaps of videos on YouTube and playing with my Southord set that came in the mail trying to pick every lock I can find. This seems to be an underappreciated sk...

Re: Another Newbie

Thanks, I have decided to commit to getting good at this it seems like a lot of fun. To that end I've ordered a set of beginner's Southord lockpicks as per Ghost's recommendation and assembled basics on hand. I've also ordered some cheapo perimeter alarms to test on, trying some of the ideas on here...
