Re: A Point on Hunting vs. Military Camo
Well said. Just the other day I dug out my old clothes and found out they are no longer a good fit nor are they great for the local environment. I have been looking into alternatives and have come across US4CES Woodland and Transitional design. Unfortunately they are not yet commercially available. ...

Would you run? Strange Noises
Just watching some video's of UE on youtube and this one made me laugh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fii99coWGvc The last 35 seconds is what I'm referring to. Brings back memories where I have experienced strange noises in abandoned buildings. I find it funny, majority of the time its probably not...

Defense against Aggressive Dogs
A friend once told me of a time he was being pursued by a K9 unit. Well, to cut a long story short he had a police dog catching up with him and handler not far behind. He made a bad judgement and attempted to jump a wall that was just that little bit to high and failed his first attempt. Thinking qu...

Re: Night Ops: 1st Homework Assignment
Reading this thread reminds me how much I have lost touch with my senses over a few years of inactivity. I used to be very aware of my surroundings, often seeing a fight happen before it got physical (if you know what I mean) and the herd being totally unaware of the situation that was about to aris...

Re: Setting off car alarms intentionally?
Would much rather use a slingshot with a bit of porcelain and smash a window for distraction. Would avoid doing this though and only if it was an emergency situation where I needed a distraction to escape. Bear in mind that there aren't always windows in sight. It would be ideal to have something th...

Re: A discussion on the being steatlhy versus inconspicous.
'Night Ops' for me would be as Ghost put it. In and Out without being seen.
As for being inconspicuous, I see this being used in a Social Engineering scenario. I would like to be inconspicuous when pretending to be a technician who has been called out to fix a banks computer systems.

Re: Strength
Strength is defiantly useful however if I had to choose between strength or endurance it would be the latter. Think about it. Your on a covert op in the middle of nowhere infiltrating an enemy base. There are about 20 odd guards on duty with a few dogs and you just tripped the alarm. What are you go...
Greetings
Greetings, I had a account here a few years ago (not sure when) however I was a bit of a stalker. :D Me and a old friend always used to be sneaking about places we weren't welcome back in the day and without trying to sound vein we were fairly good at it. However that was a few years back and I have...
