I still fucking hate you and think you're a moron, but what the hell. I'll help you out. You need MuscleTech brand only. Others work, but it's the best.

Re: bb rifle

A BB gun is not a weapon. It's an annoyance. Yeah you go ahead and do your "spontaneous ops" and get caught because you don't plan. Don't expect any of us to bail you out of jail. Have a good day.

Re: Wow, Holy Grail of Lockpick Sets...

Hey Moddy. That's a pretty nice complete set. Honestly though, those Southord tools are decent but there's no comparison between those and what you could make yourself with a $40 bench grinder and some hacksaw blades. I found the Southords to be too thin and really not up to my standards. As a novel...

Lol, kid. Have you ever shot a pellet gun before? Do you have any idea that whatever you're going to (possibly) hit is going to go into blind rage and tear you in half? Yeah, even a dog will get PISSED. Like you've been told before, stop being an idiot. If all this has not changed your mind you dese...

Re: Training Games: "Can't Be Seen" (Ninjalicious RIP)

Sneaking around your house and yard when other people are inside also works well. Especially if your hardwood creaks, you have PIR sensors outside, etc. Looks like these forums are pretty much dead, let's get some posts going people!

It does seem a bit melodramatic, but I assure you these things keep you out of trouble. Almost every time I got cocky and decided I don't need to over analyze and respond to everything that happens, something went wrong. All these rules should ultimately become part of your "instinct" but as a new o...

Re: Head covering?

I use black balaclava, just like this one: http://www.military-kit.co.uk/images/3_ ... va_hat.jpg

I used a white paint marker to give it some faint patterns and lighten it up a little because as we all know, jet black isn't of much use when you sneak around at night.

SAS Survival Guide

Since Psychlonic started posting some good ebooks in the research section, I will make a few additions of my own. If you have never heard of or read this guide, it's a must have. Even if only a portion of the things covered may apply to night ops, it's something everyone should look into. This is TH...

Re: Carpet Sandals

Very good idea. Here's a thought on attaching them to footwear: use underwear elastic. You can buy rolls of that stuff for cheap and you can use your imagination to make it work. What you want to end up with is something that slips on your shoes/boots in seconds and is sturdy enough to stay on under...

Re: Humming Bird Lock Pick

I made a hummingbird pick before. I burned the motor quickly by over-volting it a bit and I couldn't get it to work well. I have a hard time opening even the most basic of locks using electric and manual pick guns. One thing to keep in mind is that these things are NOT quiet, the sound will vibrate ...

Re: Double-edged or Single?

Single edged for me, for the same reasons Psychlonic outlined. Also it's easier to cut yourself with a double edged knife when using it as a tool or even when handling it in the dark. More room to slip or fuck up in some other manner, just something to keep in mind.

Extensible baton for me, unless I happen to take a screwdriver or something else that can be used as a weapon. No point in having 2 things that can serve a similar purpose weigh you down. I don't always have it with me though, just most of the time.

I'm with you on that one Therin. Like I said if I have a good chance of running away I would not open fire, but who knows under that kind of stress. That's why I would rather not have a firearm with me on ops.

Re: Do you ever pack heat?

How many of you would ACTUALLY shoot a pursuer if you had a firearm with you? I know I wouldn't even if fired upon if i have a good chance of outrunning and finding cover. A gun sounds like a good idea and movies lead you to believe so but it's not worth the risk. Consider getting caught with one by...

Maybe your problem is being clumsy and walking into stores with your opping backpack. It's not hard to walk with a backpack. I used to take one to school every day, loaded with 3-4 thick books. I never complained or bumped into shit, pussy.

I can't believe no one mentioned these yet- black GARBAGE BAGS! They go a long way when you need to carry a lot of stolen shit. They are large, strong and versatile. They basically take up no space or weight when folded. I like to have 3 with my opping gear at all times.

Better have no multitool rather than a cheap multitool. Ever had a socket or wrench break on you? Same idea here. Unreliable hardware that bends, has play, wears out quickly, etc is not worth it.

Don't bother with bump keys on ops. The reason should be obvious. Practice manual lock picking. Silent, quick, reliable and can be used on almost any lock. If you really want a quick lock bypass tool, try a cylinder puller. You screw it into the keyway and use a counterweight to break the cylinder f...
