Blood Pressure Cuffs

The other day a friend locked his keys in the car. We live in a small community, and had to make calls to the sheriffs dept as well as a locksmith before we could get the keys out. The officer who came couldn't unlock the car but gave up a surprising little tidbit. She told us that "enterprising car...

Eating in the field is a surefire way to boost morale, confidence, alertness, and energy. Especially on a long op. US military issue MREs generally contain about 1600 calories, and can be prepared and consumed in minutes. Or can even be consumed cold if necessary, although they do contain chemical h...

Re: Buiding a team/finding a partner

I would suggest finding somebody you trust and trying to get them into it. Really if you know they can keep a secret at the least that is a good start. Once they find themselves enjoying it you can get them to become more serious and professional about it. Start them off slow and easy just in case ...

Official map thread.

I've decided to make this the official NO Maps thread. Essentially, for those who are interested, this will be a place for you to post and discuss maps and physical outlines of OPs past present and future; as well as the possible benefits or downsides to keeping records of your ops on maps. A few ru...

Re: Powerstilting

i guess the entire point for me would be increased agility and range of movement as well as speed. definitely more useful in an urban environment, especially if there is background noise such as passing cars etc to mask it.

Powerstilting

Ive recently discovered powerstilts. An experienced and comfortable user can jump 6-9 feet into the air, and run in 6-9 foot strides and up to 20mph! They are around 3 feet in height, and 19 pounds. any thoughts?

Re: Do you ever pack heat?

There are alternatives to gunpowder-based firearms that are often overlooked. Air rifles, spring loaded rifles, and paintball guns can all be used as-is or modded for desired effect. I have known people in the past who switched out the bolt in their Tippman 98 for a reinforced bolt, and used ball be...

Motor vehicles can be a pain. The fuzz uses them, targets use them, but can we use them? While often unused, they can actually be a benefit in some circumstances. i live in the northeast, and it is getting close to winters, which are pretty heavy around here. snowmobiling is a popular sport in my to...

I live in a rural community, as i am sure a great number of you do as well. In communities like ours, we can use our natural surroundings to our advantage. Woods, streams, fields, trees, and even hunting paths are a great resource for an OP. However, this comes with several drawbacks. On long ops, y...

So... i have a crazy idea...
On an op suddenly you hear someone investigating around you. Could you toss out one of these http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/e200/?
its a sound grenade... emits a high frequency noise...
creatively used, it could distract long enough for a cunning escape;.

Re: Epic shoes

Cool shoes, a little flashy and they honestly dont seem all to practical for Opping. Durable leather trail shoes or work shoes are where you want to go. They may not seem that cool looking, but theyre only 80 bucks, and a lot more practical. besides... whos looking anyway?
