Re: When did you become interested in stealth?
I remember in eighth grade at a book store I bought two different books. "Ninjutsu way of the ninja" and "How to prank for kids". I got super into things back then where I would spend hours planning hypothetical pranks or invasions of castles as if i was a ninja. Eventually I got the idea to post a ...

Freerunning shoes with good grip?
Lately I have been interested in incorporating freerunning and parkour into opping. Mainly for evasion and for reaching high vantage points. I have been in the market for a pair of shoes that would be perfect for this job: very grippy soles, good for running, dark, light, quiet, able to climb fences...

Re: The Wolf, the Serpent and the Eagle
Thank you for typing this all out, this was an amazing read. Kinda made me realize that I spend 90% of my time like the wolf and that I will have to switch it up more in order to work most efficiently. I do not nearly utilize an eagle's perspective as much as I should. Now I am excited to try an ele...

Re: Quickness, Slowness, and Stealth
I have been thinking about this concept a lot lately. Mainly because I have been discovering that unless you can be 100% silent, sometimes one loud noise is infinitely safer than a bunch of creaky footsteps. Sneaking out of the house the other night, my window was being extremely creaky with every m...

Re: What things do you do differently from normal in ops?
that is true about the face covering and I have been searching for a good face cover for a while. A while back I bought a mask meant for airsoft that was made of a spandex-like material but it covered my ears and I could barely hear anything from under it. any suggestions for a mask?

Ah thank you for that link, that is exactly what I needed. Also I think I will start learning some scaling and rolling parkour just in case I'm ever in a pursuit scenario and need to physically outrun my pursuer. It would definitely come in handy

What things do you do differently from normal in ops?
After extensively reading these forums I have realized that I do some things radically different from what is the "norm" here. I would like to have a discussion of sorts on what is superior in ops. First off, as I still live with my family I treat the escape from my house differently from everyone e...

What are some daily ways that you practice?
I am just getting back into opping after some knee injuries and after school. I am very rusty in pretty much every aspect of opping and don't anticipate being able to complete a full fledged op immediately. What are some ways that you keep your skills honed? Do you lockpick locks around your house? ...

Matching Difficulty in Dare Thread
I'd like to make a simple proposition for the dare thread: Could we make it a rule that if you do an EASY Dare then you have to post a relatively EASY dare, and if you do a hard one then you have to post a relatively hard one? I've noticed all of the dare options beginning to move towards being extr...

Ideas for Technique-Perfecting Games?
I think it'd be cool to have a thread about various games you can play during an op (with a partner or not) that would help improve technique and stealth. It could help motivate our lazy asses to go out and have some fun while working on perfecting our skills. If you've got an idea, feel free to pos...

you may wanna invest in a real mask instead of those t-shirt masks. I can't really hear very well when i wear the t-shirt masks, but i bought a mask from here: http://www.opsgear.com/index/page/category/category_id/143/category_chain/26,143/name/HEADGEAR+-+BALACLAVAS/ works beautifully when you need...

Re: bikes as a means of urban escape
This is a good idea and I've been meaning to try this. The only problem is our town has a fuckin curfew. Anyone under 18 seen at night is taken to their home in a cop car. So i have found being on foot easier, as you can spot the patrols more easily.(yes we have people that roam around at night on b...

i am definately going to try this or at least carry that with me along with my metsubishi. Does this work for those sprinkler-type fire alarms in schools? if so, where would i throw the dust to set those off? or are they only through pulling an alarm? One BIG problem i could see with this is some fi...

Pop-Its
I just thought of an idea. You know those little pop its things? They are pea-sized explosives wrapped in paper that is twisted at the top. When you throw them on the ground they make a sound very similar to a large twig snapping. I was thinking that these could be used as a distraction on ops. If t...
