This is actually a damned good idea. Maybe make it an accounts only/edits need approval by mods wiki to divert the possibility of trolls and misinfo.Giraffe wrote:Would a night ops wiki be a good idea? The format seems to suit the task pretty well.

Site To collaboration effort
Things are changing. The forum game isnt what it was when &totse was up. There are too many large sites dominating the internet to make small forums like this one successful. And there are a lot of boards out there that are worth something that dont get discovered. A lot of these sites are fringe bo...

Re: Shoutout to CookieThief
Tbh I don't know if I am going to stay, I might but the admin there doesn't seem to want to do anything but just keep it floating. It looks like a good site but it is empty with no posters. Its a great concept. If you notice the forums are an exact rip of totses old forums (if you know totse). This...

Re: Night Ops Guide - We need a bigger one.
I am looking for ways to streamline the guides. I agree a training section for each guide would be an excllent supplementary unit. The thing is each guide will have a different style of training to accompany it. Ill do a volume by volume breakdown to see if this is what others are looking for. A Pra...

Re: Night Ops Guide - We need a bigger one.
I'd be willing to help with raw information and technique but actually writing everything into a "guide" format just isn't something I'm up for currently. So if anyone takes up this task and has questions just let me know. I don't claim to know everything but I know enough that I don't care to writ...

Re: Day Ops? tips?
Yeah, "Day Ops" are pretty much urban exploration or infiltration. Day ops aren't necessarily any more difficult than night, because as in most cases, everything varies op to op.

Night Ops: Homework Extra Credit Assignment
im up in ur forum stealin ur topics Is this post tl;dr? Fuck you, read it anyway. If you don't have time, put a reminder somewhere to look at it when you do have time. We operatives are a dark lot in the sense that our lifestyle revolves around the night. However, each of us have a day life too that...
Re: Masks?
I was thinking as a general form of consealment or for a specific use (such as keeping the face warm in cold or wind) But I see no reason to exclude gas masks and resps from the discussion. While I agree masks are probably a rule of thumb they could be more of a hindrance in situations such as infil...

Re: Night Ops: 1st Homework Assignment
Making this post for future homework updates. I generally do an environmental assessment everywhere I go but everyone can use a bit of a refresher every now and then.
Anyway this will be great for sharpening my observational skills. Quality OP m8.

Masks?
Anyone wear a mask when Oping? I can see both positives and negatives to wearing one and its heavily dependent on the nature of the op itself.
Anyway post your masks and opinions on masks.

Re: Night Ops Guide - We need a bigger one.
Hello new(ish) user. To make it short, after a hiatus I have regained interest in night ops. The urban aspect of it interests me most. I have quite a bit of survival knowledge as well as information regarding methods of concealment, going unnoticed, social engineering and, urban exploration among ot...
