Re: corrections to some of the resources by me; and an addition
A few SOP's to start out with, useful even if the enemy doesn't employ the K9 units. Before contact (In an infiltration, or an evasion); use these in conjuction with slowing and elimination tactics Stick to your basic skills of camouflage, plus these scent camouflage tricks. No problem; Here's a new one, with some good info I got from a TC Short-Term E&E Kit: Thermal Blanket Bitch scent Disguise/Fake credentials (if going into a city) A blinding powder, for close in contact. Basic theory: Use Anti and Counter Tracking as well as good route planning and physical fitness ...

The general principal is like what you said Therin; Give the dog bait, or sidestep it, then disable it. With a knife, preferably.

Dealing With Attack Dogs
This is a valid subject, and I find many people on the internet know jack shit about this, or fake it and write lies that aren't even semi good. 1. Escape, don't fight When a dog comes at you, side step like a bull fighter;the dog will be up again, but it gives you a second or more to get away. Dogs...

Re: Mixed Martial Arts as a Blueprint for Stealth
I changed my mind. We could simply use the human as a model for teaching. First, we learn to belly crawl, then crawl, then walk, and then we create our own walk that is like that of no one else (everyone has 65 pressure releases in a track (at least) that define them..... ), after which we learn to ...

Re: Mixed Martial Arts as a Blueprint for Stealth
Why not begin with IMT's/TABBING, as they are, and slowly add ways to create higher and higher levels of stealth?
Start in the day, move to the night.

Yeah, I know what you mean Stealth.
Most of the time though, getting high off the ground with a jump could negate that, but it's all personal preference.

Re: Open Source Technology: Canine Defeat
I think that the tranquilizer method will be the most effective, not practical, but effective method of carrying out this task. "Dealing" with dogs is kind of a moral issue, like someone already said. But about mixing your own tranquilizer solution, I have a theory. First, you go and buy some sort ...

Re: Your Drills
Shadow Boxing is normally used by small forces against a larger force, such as a 4 man LRRP. It can be done in close, or at long range with guns, it is like a continous hit-and-run, and is good for thinning the herd.
