I've used Therins method too. However if my shoes are at all moist on the bottom it usually makes that method impossible. Moist rubber+ metal= slip. I've been at school though and not opping so I will have to give this more practice

Black Balaclava
Dark gray Long sleeve t-shirt.
Dark gray cotton pants. These are light, but fragile. Sometime I used subdued urban BDU pants
Usually double layer socks with a normal pair, then dark blue soccer socks.

They cost 38.50! But they look alot more promising now than they did in the picture. They're alot darker than I expected so I went for it and bought em. From all the darkness testing I've done, I've decided I really like em. Haven't taken em out yet though. I'll take some pictures soon for reference...
