I'm pretty sure it's broken... Or is it just me? Anyway, not a huge deal, but I use it alot on other forums to keep up with active topics.

Is it broken? Sorry about that. The phpBB we're running right now has gone through quite a few changes and upgrades over the years. It'll get fixed when the site redesign goes live. I'm marking this one CLOSED: WONTFIX for that reason.

Huh, apparently it was a bug in 3.0.5:
