Not only is this type of conditioning fun, if people see you doing it it's also very bad ass looking.
Get a thin tree or long and wrap it in either hay, cloth or long grass. Tie it on to keep it secure. Hit it with your elbows, fist, fore arm, shuto (the little bone that sticks out of the base of your pinky used for "karate chops"), or your feet. Just make sure that the tree or log is hard wood and that the outside is soft.
(Not really night ops, but I know alot of you like martial arts and this will also just make it easier to withstand stuff with your body)

Interesting training techniques stealththief... I will definately try that out one day. Conditioning wise, what i like to use are sandbags and medicine balls as well as Chi Sau rings (my fave)... In a usual routine if you like conditioning then you would use the Chi Sau rings to strengthen and condtion your arms, the Medicine ball to condtion your abdominal region, and the sandbags to strengthen any part of the arm/fist.
