STUPID BALCONY!!!!!!!! (actually it's my fault..:P)

Post by kunoichi » Fri Sep 03, 2010 5:49 pm

Well, yesterday I decided to piss my neighbors off (because they wake us up every day at 8 in the morning with their 3 annoying spoiled babies... ). So I walked up the stairs of their house and arrived to their balcony. I saw a bell just between a door and a window; and as you can imagine, i started ringing it 8462868374958 times until they turned the lights on... Just a few seconds before they opened the door angrily, I did a turn vault and jumped from the balcony (wasn't taller than 2 meters). But while I was doing the vault, my shirt snagged somewhere and the result is that a very big part of my belly got clawed. Thank God, I didn't leave any blood there... :P (I plan to do the same a couple of times again... I am not satisfied yet.. )

Question: Has this ever happened to you? What do/would you do in order to prevent something like that? I hate when my shirt or sweatshirt snags somewhere and I get hurt...

Damn, that sounds like it hurt. Just be more careful.

Ouch, that's not good...

Thankfully that's never happened to me on an op (yet) since I usually tuck my shirt into my pants (so I can access my belt kit). Although I did tear a huge hole in my ex-opping pants while vaulting a chainlink fence during a Parkour run, which is where my piece of string came in handy. I'd suggest either tucking your shirt in or getting a tighter one so there's less chance of it snagging.

YEAH it DID hurt!! :P
Xanatos, thanks for the ideas. Actually I think I might need to buy a longer shirt because the ones I have are so old that even if I tuck it inside, when I hang from somewhere, it comes out again...

I got a nasty gash on my school roof by tripping over some random pipe (it wasn't fucking there last week dammit!) and gashed my arm.
I took the rocks in a plastic bag that night and dumped it in the trash the next day.

I would be crying in agony, in the back of a squad car(or followed by one) and being checked by a doctor.
Mostly the crying though.

anyone every seen those spikes on roofs? They're connected with a a steel cable and are usually about every 2m on the edge of the roof? I think they're lightning rods... Anyway- so once my friend was lowering himself off the edge of a roof and a spike was right below the center of his chest. So I'm like: "dude you know there's a spike right there?" "Oh, shit man haha" "dude you almost impaled yourself" nigga almost got impaled...

I've never heard of those spikes, got an image or something?
