A Nice Ops Carol

A visit from St. Ninjalous

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house;
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The alarms were set by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Ninjalous soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While tissues of chloroform danced over their heads.
And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains after getting blackjacked.
Earlier out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
Failed to illuminate anything in shadow.
Then, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But several dark figures, packing all kinds of gear.
With a daring point man, so lively and quick,
Oh shit, he saw m-! *knocked unconscious right-quick*
More rapid than eagles, his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and whispered, and called them by name;
"Now Xana, 'Ternaeon, Eden and Ghost,
Teutoni as well, I've cleared the coast.
To the top of the porch and over the wall,
But make sure you roll to break your fall."
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the duffel full of Toys, and St. Ninjalous too.
And then, in a twinkling, they were all on the roof,
Careful to wipe their feet so as not to leave proof.
As they secured the rope, as if to the ground,
Down the chimney St. Ninjalous came with a bound.
He was dressed all in black, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a thief just opening his pack.
His eyes - how they glowed! So red like a cherry!
His eyes tuned to the dark, his rhodopsin cells many!
His dark, scary face mask was tight like a bow,
And the skin underneath was pale like snow.
The hilt of a knife poked out of its sheath,
A belt full of tools hung 'round his waist like a wreath.
He had dark shoes that weren't the least bit smelly,
When Roxas saw all his gear, he got quite jelly.
He was lean and agile, a nimble Dark Elf,
So he sprang and took cover behind a shelf.
An intake of breath and a twist of his head,
To make sure no sounds were heard overhead.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk.
Signalling with his radio, up close to his nose,
And after the all-clear, up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to the edge, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle,
But they left a message, ere they snuck out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Excellent, I see your christmas spirit is early!

Here is my shoddy NO.NET Haiku!

Light has laid her nest
Skies are fogged, pitch is the air
Silhouette, Nox lives.

I love this more than I can possibly express in words.

Finally, a Christmas Carol I can read to my kids!
