Purchasing Gear Online
I'm getting ready to order some new BDU's that will become my primary opping attire. I'm wondering if I should buy them using bitcoin to avoid leaving an evidence trail in case I'm seen on camera wearing them near my house or something. What do you guys think?

Re: Make Nightops.net popular
Not to be an asshole or anything, but why on Earth would you want to draw mass amounts of attention to this forum? Much of what we talk about here is illegal and I think advertising it to the public could possibly lead to a site shut down. Not just in the interest of the forum, why on Earth would yo...

Re: Atacs Ghost
I have some really huge sweatpants I plan to wear over the BDUs when I'm traveling along routes where I might be seen. If I throw on a baggy jacket too I'll be golden. I definitely see where you're coming from Shadow Scout, but I agree with Psychlonic. The main reason I do night ops is for the thril...

Atacs Ghost
Thinking about purchasing a full set of Atacs Ghost. I'm not very knowledgeable about camouflage though so I'd love some input. All I know is the color grey is very effective in the kinds of environments I'm opping in. I usually wear solid grey sweats, grey mask and hat, gloves and even grey shoes a...

Re: What's Keeping You From Posting?
A mix of things for me. Most of the ops I do aren't very interesting and I feel they just aren't worth sharing. I'm also honestly a bit lazy and don't like writing much. I do have goals and aspirations to get better and go on more high risk ops. Once I'm at that level I think I'd feel more inclined ...

Meditation, stretches, and maybe a bit of tea if you're feeling drowsy.

Re: Tips for Beginners
I don't have much experience compared to the veterans on the forum, but something I've been mindful of/practicing lately is pushing my body to function under various difficult circumstances. Learning meditation should be a prerequisite to this. It boils down to going days without sleep, fasting, etc...

Thanks for the info! I've been looking for a good rigid pouch like that for a while. Most molle pouches I've used are really flimsy and make it difficult to grab what you need quickly.

Found a neat etsy shop. Just a dude making (I assume iron?) replicas of old shinobi climbing tools. Might be of interest to some of you:

Gonna keep this brief because I'm tired as fuck. 1. All of it. The resources, the people, all of it. I've learned so much information on this site that I've never seen elsewhere. This forum is basically my holy book. 2. Lack of activity in the live chat room. 3. The NO library, Stealth Technique's Y...

Night Ops Archive
What are the chances of this site shutting down in the future? There are so many valuable resources here, that I feel anxious about losing it all one day. I could archive it myself, but I was wondering if this thought had crossed anyone else's mind?

Re: Help with clothing
I recently bought my first pair of BDU pants. I had a similar problem. I got polyester-cotton instead of cotton, so they're not as quiet as I'd like them to be. Very durable though. For shoes I've got my boots that I use on most ops and stealth runs, but I recently bought some minimalist running sho...

Hey everyone. Anyone else get really paranoid/nervous on ops? I didn't used to feel this way. I was fearless back then (and probably a bit more naive than I am now). But nowadays it seems like every time I gear up and step outside, I have this fear that someone will see me and call the police. Any tips for dealin...

Hey guys. So it's been about 10 months since my last op. A lot went wrong that night. I triggered the burglar alarm, sprained my ankle on exfil, and managed to get caught sneaking back into my house. I have plenty of good reasons for taking those 10 months off that I won't get into, but the bottom l...

Summer time attire
I've been thinking about this for a while. I live in Texas, so the weather is warming up and fast. Pretty soon it'll be too hot out to wear my usual opping outfit. What would you guys recommend I wear on warm summer nights to keep me cool while still covering my skin?

What would be a good outfit to wear during daytime recon or perhaps on the walk to the AO that would allow me to go unnoticed in public? An important thing to note is that I'm eighteen years old. I've looked into psychological disguise and the grey man theory, but there isn't a clear guide for young...

Re: For the bare beginners: escaping from your family.
I recently moved out (got kicked out) of my parents house. After couch surfing for a while, my girlfriend's family agreed to let me stay in their pool house. I'm used to opping quite frequently, however the pool house I'm staying in has this stupid fucking alarm beep sound every time I open the door...

It's an absolute shame that the activity is decreasing. If I were a more experienced opper, I'd post frequently. But I don't know what to contribute to the forum so I mainly just lurk.
