Part of the problem is that the web works differently these days. There's this expectation that communities will come to where users already are (facebook, twitter, reddit, discord, etc). Having a separate website is a high barrier to entry and NONET is a casualty of this along with much of web 1.0....

There are some reasonably safe ways to do full disk encryption of USB sticks. For Linux, dm-crypt (LUKS/cryptsetup) is best overall. For other OSes, veracrypt is a reasonable choice. What does the rest of that KGB guide cover? There are a bunch of field manuals in the Library, but IMHO they aren't as useful as they seem. I've found that user-written guides like WotS tend have more pragmatic advice.
And... where exactly does one find a translated KGB guide?

If you go to a trade show or conference where TOOOL has a booth or runs a lockpicking village event, they will usually sell reasonable quality lockpicks and practice locks.

From what I can find online, HTML5 video should work, but safari is really picky about how the video files are served. So, maybe there's a change we can make on the server side to fix it. I don't have an iDevice to test with, but let me try some stuff and get back to you.
