Failed operations and escaping
In the event that all goes wrong and you are caught in the middle of an operation what sort of techniques have you used to escape? There was only one time I was spotted and it went as follows: Was on a corporation building site one time exploring by myself one time. I got within 100m of my objective...

Re: Open Source Technology: Canine Defeat
Attacking a dog is worst case scenario, and I'd only use it if a dog I didn't know was there caught my by surprise. But yes, by that point you've already failed and all you can do is withdraw from the area. Anyone thought of using tazers/stun guns? Though I just though of heaps of problems in using ...

Re: Defeating Your Silhouette
A lot of spot on info there Psychlonic. I might add a few things though. Cover up all exposed skin if you can. Light skin tones sometimes can, and will give you away when 'Becoming' a part of your surrounding. On an Army Cadet night exercise I had someone almost walk right over the top of me. I was ...

Re: Light removal techniques: an open question
Slingshots, dart rifles, air rifles and possibly others should make light-removal decently quiet. Lightbulbs do break on their own, if someone sees one pop chances are they'll pass it off as a random occurance. More than one light failure though and they might get suspicious. If you want to break t...

Re: Open Source Technology: Canine Defeat
I read, on totse I think, that you can scatter some really strong spices (as disgustingly smelly as possible, ammonium, paprika etc.) around and if the dog takes a good whiff, his sense of smell should be temporarily ruined. Seems like it could work, If anyone can test or confirm this, It'd be a ni...

Re: Open Source Technology: Canine Defeat
I, for one, would like to see the effects of ultrasonic devices being employed at night. I know they usually shut dogs up pretty quick if they're barking, but they can also cause howling. I don't think this would fit the criteria per se, but could at the very least present a new option. Best advice...

Good evening!
I'm new to this site but a seasoned adventurer. Expertise in climbing, stealth, resourcefulness, creative/amusing ideas, leadership and ninja know-how. I'm up with the moon is and gone when the sun rises. I once ate a doughnut from a building site fridge and left a note in it's place with a name fro...
