Night Ops is the art of infiltrating, exploring, and exfiltrating an area without leaving any traces of having visited. It's also a philosophy, fueled by pure human curiosity and a spirit of adventure. The night opper explores simply to satisfy the urge to see the world, to experience all the thrills the night has to offer, and to overcome the challenges inherent in doing what one is told to be impossible. Like the ninja of ages past, the night opper moves without being seen, heard, or sensed. The night opper does not break the lock to get through the door, they find a way around or learn to pick.
Night ops overlaps a great deal with Urban Exploration; it could be said that night ops is UE taken to an extreme. The key differences are the selection of targets, and the night opper's focus on stealth and desire to test and improve their own skills.
